After **Thai New Year (Songkran)**, Ghone repeatedly asked when he could see fireworks again. Knowing how fascinated he was by light, color, and movement, his family told him about the **Pattaya International Fireworks Festival** held each November. As soon as he heard about it, he excitedly asked to go.

To make the experience as immersive as possible, the family booked a hotel overlooking the perfect viewing spot for the fireworks display. It became one of the most memorable—and most expensive—family trips they had ever taken to Pattaya, but one they believed was truly worthwhile for the inspiration it would give Ghone. Watching the brilliant explosions of color illuminate the night sky became an experience that would later find its way onto canvas.

For this artwork, Ghone requested a **turquoise and white canvas**, creating a luminous foundation before selecting his own vibrant palette of colors. As he painted, he listened to one of his favorite pieces of music—**"Can-Can."** Every time the lively melody played, he smiled and said, **"Can-Can has fireworks in the song."** In Ghone's imagination, the energetic rhythm and sparkling fireworks belonged together, each enhancing the excitement of the other.
