"This ongoing body of work is my exploration and creation of ephemeral sculptures through an abstract and primarily neutral gaze. Bringing together the harsh Australian sun I grew up with and myriad of sculptures and influences from life in Paris. Each is the creation of a piece of art in homage to another. Dancers are painted head to toe with a marble like finish, this allows them to mentally transport themselves into a living sculpture where we then work together to mould them into beautiful abstract shapes and forms, bathed in sunlight. I then photograph these strong and beautiful ephemeral sculptures, casting them into homages of the process. "
