CHRIS KONDEK: PIXEL DESIRES

BBA Gallery is pleased to present the first solo exhibition of Chris Kondek, featuring large-format generative works in which colours, shapes, and pixels slide and tear across the image surface to create complex, chaotic topographies. Each piece begins with a photograph of a simple object, which is then transformed through a series of algorithmic reinterpretations.

Using custom software, Kondek maps the image’s colours and forms into a landscape of flows and resistances, allowing pixels to migrate and reshape themselves into abstract, unpredictable compositions that remain subtly connected to their origin.
