This image was conceived prior to its encounter and later realized near Uluru in collaboration with a local Indigenous family. A foreign object — a pair of high heels — is introduced into a self-contained environment. It does not integrate. It is carried, held, and left unresolved. The relationships between the figures remain intact, independent of the object. The image holds two systems in parallel: one grounded in its own continuity, the other imposed without consequence. Neither collapses into the other.
