District Line #2 captures real-time movement on the District Line, London, November 2024. The artwork is part of the ongoing City Scans project, which focuses on the ebb and flow of transport systems in major cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Istanbul, Seoul and Berlin.

Using high-speed video, I work in an ""unseen"" space. Movement is reconstructed into layered time structures, revealing extended moments and visual patterns not visible to the naked eye. Tens of millions move through these dense transport infrastructures daily, where commuters often appear distorted and fluid suggesting a tension between human presence and the demands of a digitally driven world. Part documentary and part visual experiment, the City Scans project aims to expose the rhythm and flow of mass urban transit, creating new urban landscapes.
