BerlinGirl on Rooftop is a portrait of a young girl in Berlin, driven by ambition and possibility. The painting is inspired by a culture that exists within the city, where young people climb onto rooftops, invited or not, to spend the evening above the noise of the streets, watching the sunset and sharing moments that feel temporary and unforgettable at the same time.

With this work, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of youth in Berlin — the freedom, intimacy, and quiet intensity of those rooftop evenings. The viewer is invited to feel as if they are sitting beside her, suspended in a moment where everything else fades away and only the present matters.

Through my semi-abstract visual language, the figure and the sky begin to dissolve into one another. The colors and soft transitions create a vivid yet dreamlike energy, reflecting both the emotional openness of the scene and the fleeting nature of the moment itself.
