Oil on canvas

This oil on canvas stages an unstable architectural space where structure and rupture coincide. Columns, beams, and suspended planes recede into depth, suggesting an industrial interior, yet the order is disrupted by a red-white fissure that cuts through the upper structure like an opened seam. Broad grey fields create a cool, atmospheric weight, while heated passages of colour introduce a sense of internal pressure forcing its way outward.

The painting balances containment and release, support and fracture. Perspective anchors the image in built space, but the surface remains unsettled, as if the structure were being tested from within. Rather than depicting a fixed site, the work presents architecture as a condition of strain, where stability becomes provisional and the image reveals what it can no longer fully hold.
