Post-Colonial Quilt was made from discarded plastic plants. I wondered what they might want to become if they weren't spending their existence pretending to be something they're not. They chose to depict part of their origin story: colonialism that exoticises the image of life from somewhere else, while the longing to capture it is what destroys it.
