ABOUT THE ARTIST

Oszillationen explores the emotional resonance of childhood through unposed moments of vulnerability and strength. Combining ornamental glass with references to classical portrait aesthetics, these analogue medium-format works dissolve fixed contours—transforming the subject into a fragile presence suspended between intimacy and distance. In the context of "Poor Traits," the gazes resist any rigid clarity. The image turns into a mirror, inviting us to reflect on how profoundly our own perception, memory, and social conditioning shape the way we see the other.
